Snapshots from Urbino

Palm Sunday mass in St. Peter’s Square. The childhood home of Renaissance master, Raphael. Morning fog moving through a beautiful Italian valley.

LAS students captured these moments and more during a spring semester in Urbino, Italy. The Urbino program, led by photographer and Associate Professor Dennis Chamberlin, helps students in the Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication develop multimedia reporting skills while immersing themselves in a foreign culture. Started in 2010 as a summer program, this was the first full semester for the program.
