Jordan "Jo" Allen (’21 journalism and mass communication) was on the brink of financial despair this spring when the COVID-19 pandemic thwarted her job opportunities. An LAS Success Grant bolstered her ability to make ends meet and, most importantly, continue her Iowa State education.
